Ahead of the Curve (ATC) and Entrepreneurship with Impact Ventures (EwIV) proudly announce that our Co-Founder Dina Sherif was selected amongst one of ten Local SDG Pioneers by the United Nations Global Compact, the only woman representing the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in 2015 to establish an international agenda to end global poverty, protect our planet, and improve the wellbeing of our world's citizens by 2030. On June 22nd, 2016, the United Nations Global Compact announced its inaugural class of Local SDG Pioneers, selected from among 600 nominations from 100 countries. These business leaders and change-makers are making global goals local business, advancing the SDGs through their work, and leading by example in their home countries and regions.
As Co-Founder and CEO of ATC, Dina's work directly contributes to the SDGs' advancement and exemplifies her commitment to a sustainable future.
